I don’t think he has much of a hope and I don’t actually want it to happen, but a tiny part of me wants Newt Gingrich to become president so we can hear everyone’s excuses as to why it’s fine and acceptable that we don’t have a colony on the moon by the end of his “first” term, even though we don’t hear the end of why Obama is a big fat liar and a huge disappointment because he couldn’t single-handedly turn around the economy to Clinton-era prosperity in four measly years AND give every citizen a pet unicorn on the house while also lowering taxes.
