Because I don't see anything really referencing religion til VLV, where religion is pretty prevalent. Have you noticed the religious messages in the album overall? I mean, some of them are pretty obvious but if you look into the lyrics further they're pretty intense.

Yeah, I never should have said I wasn’t a big fangirl, because the second I did, I started disproving it left and right in the span of hours.
