I’ve got Coldplay on my actual TV (not a stream) in something I’ve never seen before, and I might make a margarita if my mom doesn’t yell at me for making dishes, so this is all very lovely.

(The Strokes changed the day they were playing the Oxegen Festival to Friday, when it was originally announced they’d be on Sunday. This is all Blink-182’s fault).
But that’s OK: if it really had worked out that The Strokes and Coldplay were REALLY playing the same stage on the same day right before each other, I think...

Last year apparently we ordered pizza and I had cider and watched the original Star Wars trilogy on New Year’s Eve. This year my mom made a fancy roast because my brother’s girlfriend is here. I don’t eat roast, but at least I have potatoes and margaritas and Coldplay later. I might also throw in a Star Wars or two.
I also have loads of sparklers left over from the shitshow...

I have a really high tolerance for substances and chemicals in my experience—taking aspirin or over-the-counter painkillers never has any effect whatsoever on me in any dosage except makes my stomach hurt, and I’ve never once been drunk outside of feeling slightly dizzy when going down stairs or something, for example.
