I hope Rick Santorum goes to the zoo specifically to see the penguins and the penguin exhibit is closed.

FIOE lyrics as misheard by Chelsea and still accidentally sung that way more than five years later:
YOLO: “Shotgun leaves the sunshine”
I actually think I was pretty good on Juicebox and HIAC
Razorblade: “Oh, the razorblade, that’s what I called up, I bet you’d ksfjghkhd and skgjfkfghfd if I put it down…anything to—FUCK IT—everything…drop...
Will there ever be a time when I think of the CORRECT lyrics to FIOE songs on the first try?
Probably not
This is why you shouldn’t steal music…I didn’t get a physical copy of FIOE with the lyrics booklet til a year after it came out and as a result I mangle the lyrics every single time I hear those songs even six years later.

I wouldn’t say it’s a harsh post. Maybe you’re just not into their more experimental stuff? I found it hard to get into at first, but it’s great once it finally hits you.
“Blunt” is probably a better word. And it’s definitely about the more experimental stuff, I just have discovered in the past...

This is a harsh post about Radiohead
I fricking love Radiohead. I count them as one of my all-time favorite bands, and I’m eagerly awaiting the announcement of upcoming East Coast tour dates. Their first four albums are some of the best I’ve heard, and In Rainbows is one of my all-times favorites. But for some reason I’m not as rabidly excited as everyone else is about the tour...

I usually don’t talk about my memory much, because in telling people that I often am able to remember stuff that I shouldn’t have any recollection of whatsoever usually comes back to bite me in the ass, because what I remember can be kind of hit-or-miss, and it’s often stuff that other people are desperate for me to remember that I can’t pull up the details of at all.
But...

I just spent all afternoon cleaning out my closets and I’ve been reminded of a few things:
I’m a borderline hoarder and keep mostly everything for sentimental value
Every shirt and top made pre-2007 is basically a crop top, that’s just how everything was cut back then
I’m the type of person that pairs coats that (originally) cost $400 with ratty jeans and sneakers...

I recently sent in an email to my scheduling manager saying “hey, I do have full availability but if there ever is flexibility in the schedule, I like being on the night shift way better than mornings because I’m a horrible person in the morning that looks like a drug addict harboring a desire to kill everyone” and since then pretty much every day I’m scheduled for down the...

I had the day off today and I have the day off tomorrow, and I have the WHOLE weekend off, even though I only asked for half of Sunday off.
I kind of don’t know what to do with myself…besides the four million things I should be doing, of course

Today was the slowest day and night at the store that we’ve had since I’ve started working there. That makes it super boring sometimes, but it also allows a bit more freedom in talking to the other people that I work with there, and I find that fun. Basically we just started cleaning and stuff really early while we were still technically open and danced around and talked and stuff. And...

how can that be illegal?!!
http://www.fanfreedom.org/2011/05/new-york-gov-signs-paperless-ticket-ban-into-law/
The law was modified so paperless tickets aren’t totally illegal anymore, but there are restrictions on them because they still have to be transferrable, and people are able to opt-out,...

Radiohead did this for their show! The paperless ticketing thing. All I have is a receipt I’ve been admiring for the past 4 months!
Yeah, Radiohead’s always great about things like this, but paperless ticketing is still bloody illegal in the state of New York as well.
Basically it should be...

I just saw them play Charlie Brown and I thought of you :D
Aww :3 I’ve been in a major Coldplay mood these days anyway as well…I think it’s because I hear them 24/7 at work, haha. While simultaneously selling an iMac today I was struck by how great a song “God Put A Smile Upon Your...

Fun fact: pretty much the first time I’d ever seen Chris in anything resembling formalwear was the first time I met him and that made it extra awesome (OK so he did wear a waistcoat and tie to a thing with Alicia Keys once before that but that was pretty much IT)
Since then he’s worn nice clothes a few times, mostly at Christmas Lights events and once at that Anton Corbijn event and I...

Also one of my favorite movie-going experiences of all time was seeing Never Let Me Go in theaters in Norwich followed by a satellite Q&A with the author of the book and the director of the film where the author started talking about what would actually happen to the world with an older population (it’s a sci-fi story OK), and he said “the whole world would just end up looking like...
