Oh boy, Jonny’s being papped? I don’t know if I’ve ever seen any of the other three being randomly papped before, except when they’re going to or coming from a band event.
I don’t catch what Jo Whiley says in her intro. Perhaps it’s something to do with that, perhaps it’s a private joke, or perhaps it’s because they’re genuinely shitting themselves, but Jonny and Chris walk up the steps to the stage holding hands.
Miller says this like it’s some sort of unusual thing and like they don’t go around kissing each other all the time as well. I always roll my eyes a bit at the “they’re secret lovers, their wives are just beards” jokes and stuff because I find it a bit tiring, but I’ll never stop admiring the strength and depth of their friendship and their confidence in expressing it however they want.
Despite looking scary, in the first gif, Chris is describing his idea of a concept album: “Oh, this happened, and then we went to the shops.”
I would be interested in hearing a concept album about going to the shops, actually.
