It’s actually kind of hard to equate how much they used to move and literally roll around with how little they move now. I almost can’t really imagine Valensi doing anything but kind of bobbing his head and taking a few steps here or there.

Reblogging this because I’m pretty sure this is from Coachella 2011, exactly when DFA 1979 were performing their set when everything went to shit and Valensi came out and stood by the stage for a few minutes but then kind of was visibly surprised by house ridiculous the crowd was being and left. But at least in that three-minute span I was so awed by standing six feet from him that I forgot I was 90% of the way to being crushed and pummeled to death.
